This video shows how to clean, flush and descale an RV Atwood water heater. You can use the same procedure if you have a Suburban water heater. Do this once a year at the end of the camping season. Basically drain the water, fill with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water, let it soak then drain and rinse. It couldn’t be easier and will keep your water heater clean from lime deposits and scale.
